How to Remove Background Noise from Recording on an iPhone in the Voice Memos apps

Voice Memos application got a tremendous improvement on iOS 14

Voice Memo on iPhone is a login recording application for many users. Do you need to record important lectures, take notes for meetings, or document brief thoughts, all of which are useful in all situations.

With iOS 14, your favorite voice memo application gets improved. Of course, the increase was not mentioned in Apple’s keynote at WWDC when they announced iOS 14 because it was small compared to many other changes that came to the OS.

In addition to the smart folders and folders that come to voice memos, one big change that comes is the recording improvement. You can now enhance your recordings to eliminate background noise and room echoes with just one tap.

Open the Voice Memos application and tap on the recording you want to improve. Some options will be expanded below it. Tap the ‘Other options’ icon (three dots).

1

A pop-up menu will appear. Tap the ‘Edit Record’ option.

2

On the editing screen, you will see an icon like a magic wand to the top left corner of the screen. Tap to enhance recording.

3

This will have a blue background to indicate that the enhancement is active.

4

That’s all it takes to perfect the recording and eliminate background noise from it on iOS 14.

If you want the original recording back, you can get it by tapping the icon again and it will revert the changes.
